Course Description

This  course is designed to introduce trainers to the fundamental concepts of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its applications in adult education. Participants will explore the history, current trends, and future possibilities of AI, focusing on practical tools and techniques to enhance teaching and learning. By the end of the course, trainers will understand how AI can be integrated into learning environments to support learners learning, improve efficiency, and foster innovation.

Course Methodology

This course will employ a blended learning approach, combining theoretical knowledge with practical application to help trainers integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into their teaching practices effectively. The methodology consists of the following key elements:

Interactive Lectures: Each session will begin with a brief lecture introducing core AI concepts, focusing on its applications in education. Trainers will gain a solid understanding of the theory behind AI, including machine learning, natural language processing, and data-driven teaching tools.

Hands-on Workshops: Trainers will engage in practical activities where they can explore AI tools firsthand. These workshops will allow participants to create personalized learning materials, assess learners data, and implement AI tools in simulated learning environments.

Collaborative Learning: Trainers will be grouped into small teams to collaborate on problem-solving tasks, such as designing lesson plans that incorporate AI. This promotes peer learning and enables participants to share insights and strategies based on their unique educational experiences.

Case Studies & Best Practices: We will analyze real-life case studies where AI has been successfully integrated into learning environments, discussing both the benefits and challenges. Trainers will learn how to apply these practices in their own environments.
